Why do you want to help the person who is trying to get you convicted of a crime? Anyway why would you think your LAWYER wants to help the opposition? If the judge isn't taking the plea then it's likely because they don't think the penalty is enough. If that's the case then YOUR lawyer, the Prosecution and the Judge should all get together and see what the problem is.
