What happens to someone's driving/criminal record if their license was suspended for DUI but has it overturned?

A friend of mine was arrested for DUI a while ago and as a result, her license was suspended and she had to go to court. However, she went to the department of motor vehicles for a hearing so she could fight the license suspension and she won, so her suspension was overturned and her license was reinstated. When she went to court, she was able to get the DUI dismissed. I'm just wondering, does this mean that the DUI and the subsequent suspension were removed from her record and that the DUI was removed from her public record?
