If my wife and 2 children live outside of USA, how many exemptions should I use. I take care of all their exp.

I work in America but the family lives outside. I want to keep enough in my check to take care of all their expenses and mine. So I don't want to use 0 for exemptions. I have one child in college and another in private grammar school. Any suggestions on the number of exemptions I should use?
