I am thinking of getting a pet giraffe.?

Are they nice pets like domesticated cats and dogs? Have you got to keep them on lead like dog, or let them out like cats? My tenancy agreement says that we are allowed to keep pets in my one bed flat; so does this mean my land lord cannot force me to get rid of a giraffe if he finds out about it? What is the cheapest way to get hold of a giraffe?
